Francia McCormack

Francia is a writer and visual artist whose work explores social consciousness, nature, travel, and faith. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Education from the University at Buffalo, where her studies focused on integrating technology into the classroom. Her artistic training includes studies at Cooper Union in New York City, Spruill Art Center in Atlanta, and Emory University. Her visual work spans sculpture, mixed-media collage, watercolor, and oil painting. As a writer, Francia has covered politics, justice, education, faith, and ethics, while also teaching and supporting small businesses. Her work has appeared in or been supported by CNET Networks, Ms. Magazine, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and The Post and Courier. She has also worked as a communications consultant, including roles in international election observation, immigration advocacy, and estate law paralegal work.
